Construction Attorney Christopher M. Caputo Joins Baker Donelson

(Memphis, TN/September 1, 2009) Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC, announces the addition of Christopher M. Caputo to its Memphis office.

Mr. Caputo, who joins the Firm as a shareholder, concentrates his practice in construction law. He has extensive experience in representing both public and private owners, contractors and subcontractors, suppliers, insurers, financial institutions and design professionals throughout the entire United States and abroad. In serving his clients, Mr. Caputo drafts and negotiates development, design and construction contracts, provides counsel during the design and construction process, and mediates, arbitrates and litigates construction related disputes. He has represented construction industry clients in transactional and litigation matters involving luxury hotels, manufacturing facilities, nuclear power plants, hospitals, highways and pharmaceutical laboratories, among others. A graduate of Colgate University and the University of Miami School of Law, Mr. Caputo has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a leading lawyer in the field of construction law. He previously served as the Chairman of the American Bar Association Forum on the Construction Industry's Young Lawyers Division.
