(Birmingham, AL / June 13, 2013) Baker Donelson announces the addition of Ashley Hugunine to the Firm's Birmingham office.
Ms. Hugunine, an associate in the Firm's Real Estate and Finance Group, represents developers in connection with the purchase, financing, sale and leasing of commercial real estate and represents clients in all aspects of the telecommunications industry. She also has experience representing clients in banking law, general corporate and securities areas, real estate law and public finance. Ms. Hugunine has advised both borrowers and lenders in financing transactions as well as purchasers in complex asset acquisitions, and has served as bond counsel, issuer's counsel and underwriter's counsel with respect to financings for county and municipal governments and governmental instrumentalities throughout Alabama.
A 2006 graduate of Tulane University Law School, Ms. Hugunine is a member of the American, Alabama and Birmingham Bar Associations, as well as the Alabama Wireless Association, the International Council of Shopping Centers, and the Public Affairs Research Council of Alabama (PARCA) Roundtable. Prior to attending law school, she worked several years in accounting and finance and is a Certified Public Accountant in Alabama.
