Baker Donelson is pleased to announce that Shareholder Jill M. Steinberg has successfully achieved recertification as a civil trial advocate with the National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA).
The NBTA was formed out of a strong conviction that both the law profession and its clients would benefit from an organization designed specifically to create an objective set of standards illustrating an attorney's experience and expertise in the practice of law. NBTA board certified attorneys must successfully complete a screening process to demonstrate trial experience, competency and good standing. Approximately three percent of American lawyers are board certified by the NBTA.
Ms. Steinberg, a shareholder in Baker Donelson's Memphis office, concentrates her practice in litigation with significant experience in medical malpractice, nursing home liability, products liability, premises liability, automobile liability, toxic tort and professional liability. She also has experience in class actions defense, particularly involving medical and scientific issues.
