Jill M. Steinberg, shareholder in the Memphis office, concentrates her practice in litigation with significant experience in medical malpractice, nursing home liability, products liability, premises liability, automobile liability, toxic tort and professional liability. Her experience also includes insurance defense, workers' compensation, general business litigation and ERISA litigation. Additionally, Ms. Steinberg has experience in class actions defense, particularly involving medical and scientific issues.
Ms. Steinberg has tried more than 25 jury trials and has appeared before the Tennessee Court of Appeals, Tennessee Supreme Court and Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization and the National Board of Trial Advocacy.

- Jury verdict in favor of internal medicine physician in wrongful death action after plaintiff had surgery for broken hip and suffered medical complications.
- Defense of OB-GYN in medical malpractice case alleging negligent failure to do a pregnancy test before myomectomy surgery (voluntary non-suit during trial).
- Jury verdict in favor of internal medicine physician in case alleging negligence in prescribing indocin to patient with chronic renal failure causing acute failure and need for dialysis.
- Jury verdict in favor of general surgeon in case alleging lack of informed consent in performance of thyroidectomy causing permanent hoarseness.
- Defense of physician in case alleging sexual abuse (mistrial declared due to Plaintiff's counsel's misconduct during trial).
- Defense of a physician in case alleging he negligently performed abortion (voluntary non-suit during trial).
- Dismissal of outrageous conduct case against minor emergency clinic (upheld in Court of Appeals).
