Baker Donelson is pleased to announce that two of the Firm's attorneys have been recognized by Lawdragon as leading lawyers.
Jennifer P. Keller and Linda A. Klein have been named to the 2017 "Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America," the 12th annual guide of leading lawyers in the United States. The 2017 honorees are comprised of 34 percent women lawyers and 15 percent minority lawyers.
Ms. Keller was also named to Lawdragon's 2017 guide of the "100 Most Powerful Employment Lawyers" which is produced in partnership with Human Resource Executive and features leading corporate, defense-side employment lawyers.
Inclusion in both guides is based on editorial research, law firm submissions and online nominations.
Ms. Keller, President and COO of Baker Donelson, is one of two Tennessee-based attorneys included in the Lawdragon 500 guide and one of three Tennessee-based attorneys in the "100 Most Powerful Employment Lawyers" guide. An employment litigator in the Firm's Johnson City office, she advises clients on a wide variety of issues including discipline and terminations, benefits issues, leave, disability accommodation, policy formulation and enforcement, and similar matters. A substantial part of her practice is providing training for employers in the areas of harassment and discrimination prevention, drug-free workplace, union avoidance and other employment law issues.
Ms. Klein, senior managing shareholder of Baker Donelson's Atlanta office, is one of four Georgia attorneys included in the 2017 guide. Her practice includes most types of business dispute resolution, particularly for the construction and higher education industries. As President of the ABA, Ms. Klein's key initiative has focused on improving access to justice for veterans, resulting in the new ABA Commission on Veterans' Legal Services. She also co-created the ABA's Task Force on Building Public Trust in the American Justice System.
