Leslie Bounds concentrates her practice in the areas of tax exempt organizations, tax controversy and IRS collection matters, forensic accounting projects, and financial document review and analysis.

Professional Biography


Ms. Bounds practiced as a certified public accountant (CPA)* for 14 years before beginning her legal career. She draws upon this experience to provide clients with strategic legal guidance for matters before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the Mississippi Department of Revenue, and various other state and local taxing authorities. Ms. Bounds' experience also includes the areas of business succession planning and lifetime planning, estate and trust administration, income tax planning, and non-profit entities.

Ms. Bounds also counsels clients on business transactions, particularly in the areas of agreements and contracts, tax advice, and entity formation and organization.

Ms. Bounds is actively involved as a board member and treasurer of the Bethlehem Center, a local non-profit serving low-income families and individuals through affordable quality childcare, a free income tax assistance program, counseling, and various community development initiatives.
