International Company Galaxkey Joins Baker Donelson Cybersecurity Accelerator

Galaxkey, a U.K.-based cybersecurity company, has joined the Baker Donelson Cybersecurity Accelerator, marking the third company to join the program and the accelerator's first international participant.

Galaxkey, which is based in London, offers cloud, email and content security solutions. Their product offerings include complete end-to-end email encryption, document encryption with multi-tenant support, cloud encryption that allows files to be encrypted before being stored in the cloud, and secure sharing services that allow users to easily encrypt and share files. With a focus on data security, Galaxkey supports businesses to achieve the necessary security posture for compliance.

"Galaxkey is excited to join the Baker Donelson Cybersecurity Accelerator program," said Randhir Shinde, CEO of Galaxkey. "The program is innovative and will facilitate the global expansion of Galaxkey to Atlanta and further afield. Baker Donelson is very welcoming, moreover their extensive ecosystem provides an environment that is conducive to successfully growing cybersecurity business."

"The addition of an international company to our accelerator program shows that Atlanta is truly becoming a global player in cybersecurity," said Justin Daniels, the head of the Baker Donelson Cybersecurity Accelerator and Baker Donelson's Atlanta Emerging Companies Group. "Galaxkey had any number of options to choose from in deciding on a location to launch their U.S. presence, but they chose Atlanta because of the many resources and advantages that are available as part of the city's outstanding cyber ecosystem. We're very proud to welcome them to Atlanta and to have them as part of our program as they expand their operations outside the U.K."

Galaxkey joins the two current participants in the accelerator: Authomate, which offers a patented, cloud-based identity and access management solution that is accessed via a smartphone application, and RaceIQ, which offers cybersecurity software for the automotive market to detect and mitigate vehicle data hacks, malware and virus uploads.

The mission of the Baker Donelson Cybersecurity Accelerator is to accelerate the growth of domestic and international cybersecurity companies within Atlanta's unique cybersecurity ecosystem. It provides office space and connects emerging companies to mentorship, talent, customers and capital. The program offers unique benefits to emerging growth cybersecurity companies, including discounted office space and dedicated mentors with broad experience and a large network in cybersecurity.
