Mr. Thompson assists clients through all stages of the construction and development of a project, including litigation. He represents public and private owners, contractors and subcontractors, and design professionals in a wide array of industries, including manufacturing, automotive, hospitality, and health care.
After graduating law school, Mr. Thompson served as a judicial law clerk to Judge Gilbert S. Merritt Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Prior to joining Baker Donelson, he practiced construction law and commercial litigation at a respected boutique litigation firm in Nashville.
