Emma Short represents clients across a variety of industries in litigation matters involving breach of contract, consumer products and products liability, oil and gas, shipping and distribution, and intellectual property. She has experience managing various aspects of pretrial practice with an emphasis on case development, drafting pleadings, discovery requests and responses, researching and drafting dispositive motions, and third-party discovery. Ms. Short practices in federal and state courts in Texas.
After law school, Ms. Short served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Zachary J. Hawthorn of the Eastern District of Texas, where she drafted orders, memorandums, and reports and recommendations regarding constitutional and/or federal law violations.
