(Fort Lauderdale, FL / April 15, 2015) Baker Donelson announces the addition of David B. Levin to the Firm's Fort Lauderdale office.
Mr. Levin joins as an associate in the Firm's financial services group, where he represents national title insurance underwriters and their insureds in title claim litigation, as well as mortgage lenders and servicers in consumer finance and creditor's rights litigation. He has substantial experience handling lien priority disputes and quiet title actions, and defending lenders and servicers against statutory, contract and tort claims. Mr. Levin has also strategically counseled clients in complex commercial landlord-tenant disputes and sophisticated real estate litigation.
A graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, Mr. Levin has been listed as a "Rising Star" in Florida Super Lawyers since 2012 in the area of business litigation and has been noted as an "Up and Comer" in Florida Trend's Legal Leaders listing since 2013. He is a graduate of Leadership Miami and a member of the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division, the Dade County Bar Association Young Lawyers Section, as well as the Florida Land Title Association and American Bar Association.
