Recent events have demonstrated some of the unique challenges faced by institutes of higher learning. Our panel of experts will be discussing these challenges and some strategies for mitigating these risks through focused, internal reviews and audits.
Our panel will include members of Baker Donelson's Higher Education team including Shareholders Jennifer Curry and Angie Davis. Joining the panel will be Peter Resnick, a forensic accountant who regularly assists universities with internal investigations and compliance reviews. The discussion is designed to provide some tools for helping universities ensure that critical processes like admissions are fair for all applicants, and that compliance obligations to various organizations and government agencies are satisfied.
