Bethany's practice focuses on government investigations and enforcement actions with an emphasis on class actions, antitrust and competition law, and corporate compliance.
Bethany has handled all facets of litigation, including overseeing factual investigation and development, managing e-discovery efforts, briefing for motions and other pleadings, preparing witness testimony, and negotiating resolution. She has represented consumer and competitor plaintiffs in nationwide class action lawsuits over false advertising and fraud claims, defended against allegations of per se violation of antitrust laws in nationwide class action lawsuits, and staffed federal equity receiverships involving securities fraud.
Bethany gained legal experience as a judicial extern at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. She conducted research, reviewed pleadings and attended hearings on a variety of matters. Bethany drafted legal memoranda and orders for the Honorable William M. Ray, II in civil and criminal matters, including cases concerning the Fourth Amendment, bankruptcy and the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO).
