The Washington Post spoke with former U.S. Senator and Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle (D-SD) about his plans to join Baker Donelson as the leader of a public policy consulting affiliate, which will be called The Daschle Group, A Public Policy Advisory of Baker Donelson.
"I've always wanted the opportunity to start my own organization," Mr. Daschle said. "What I see with [Baker] is an opportunity to do it in a much more independent way and with greater managerial autonomy."
