(Nashville, TN/December 18, 2012) Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC is pleased to announce that Charles K. Grant has been elected as the 2014 president of the Nashville Bar Association (NBA).
A shareholder in the Firm's Nashville office, Mr. Grant's experience includes defending clients in complex employment litigation, including class actions and collective actions (wage and hour litigation); litigation concerning claims under Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA); Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) claims; employment and non-compete agreements; protection of trade secrets; and the Worker Adjustment Retraining and Notification Act (WARN).
Mr. Grant has served on the Nashville Bar Association's board of directors and will serve the 2012-2013 term as president-elect before being installed as president at the NBA's annual meeting. A past president and former board member of the Napier-Looby Bar Association, Mr. Grant has been listed in Mid-South Super Lawyers in the area of Employment Litigation Defense since 2006.
