CQ <em>Roll Call</em> spoke with former U.S. Senator and Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle (D-SD) about joining Baker Donelson as the leader of a public policy consulting affiliate, The Daschle Group, A Public Policy Advisory of Baker Donelson. Mr. Daschle discusses his plans to build upon his bipartisan work at The Daschle Group.
"What I hope to do," Mr. Daschle says, "is to continue to do what Howard [Baker] and I did, which is to build bipartisan consensus around policy issues that continue to challenge us as a country."
