Join Baker Donelson attorney Chervis Isom at the Birmingham Legal Secretaries Association's Super Saturday CLE Event on Saturday, October 22. The event will take place at the 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama, from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. CDT.
The event will center on how the law changed as a result of Birmingham's role in the Civil Rights Movement. In addition to Mr. Isom, speakers will include the Honorable Houston L. Brown, the Honorable Helen Shores Lee and a panel discussion on the role of the media in changing the law. The keynote speaker, Ms. Carolyn McKinstry, will wrap up the day with a presentation on how being a survivor of the 1963 church bombing has driven her to dedicate her life to the cause of civil rights.
