Professional Biography

Xeris Gregory is a litigation associate in Baker Donelson's Birmingham office and is a member of the Advocacy Department. Xeris defends clients in complex litigation involving contracts, premises liability, and other mass torts.

Prior to law school, Xeris worked as a labor and employment paralegal, managing more than 150 cases, including several large class action suits.

  • Received temporary restraining order against local city and government officials for First Amendment retaliation claim.

  • Assisted in obtaining summary judgment in favor of private citizen in defamation lawsuit filed by municipality.

  • Successfully represented national hospitality and gaming corporation in contractual dispute, including bench trial.

  • Represented three non-profit organizations and co-authored amicus brief in support of including the Equal Rights Amendment in the Constitution in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

  • Represented a national restaurant chain in an unlawful detainer action.

  • Listed in Mid-South Super Lawyers as a Rising Star (2021)
