Professional Biography


Victoria Young is an associate in Baker Donelson's Memphis office and a member of the Financial Services Group. She assists her clients in all stages of business development, including formation, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, raising capital through public and private offerings, mergers, acquisitions, and sales. Ms. Young also has experience in securities litigation and defense of broker-dealers and registered investment advisers. Further, she has experience in forming new entities, drafting purchase and sale agreements, and advising emerging companies. 

Victoria was a judicial extern for the Honorable John Fowlkes in the U.S. District Court of the Western District of Tennessee where she gained experience in case analysis and research.

Victoria has been involved in business and diversity organizations, including founding the non-profit organization, Visionaries, Incorporated, which is dedicated to providing college counseling services to prospective and current college students.

Prior to law school, Victoria taught English and language arts to high school students in Shelby County, Tennessee.
