Professional Biography

Theresa Concepción is a seasoned business and commercial litigator who represents clients in high-stakes litigation in state and federal court. She handles all phases of complex litigation, from discovery to pleadings through dispositive motions, mediations, trial, and appeals. In addition to representing clients in the health care industry, she has also represented clients in the automotive, chemical manufacturing, construction, debt-collection, and pharmaceutical industries.

Theresa has litigated a variety of legal claims, including breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and business torts. Leveraging her prior in-house experience as vice president and assistant general counsel at JPMorgan Chase's Fair Lending Group, she also defends mortgage and lending servicing clients against claims of violations of federal and state consumer protection statutes, including violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Theresa also represents municipal clients in Section 1983 and other civil litigation matters.

Her work has earned her industry recognition as a Super Lawyers® "Rising Star" in New York and Pennsylvania.

Theresa is fluent in verbal Spanish.
