Ryan Gonzales focuses his practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, finance, tax, corporate contracts and governance, with an emphasis on advising clients on corporate structuring and transactions.

Professional Biography

Ryan assists clients across the country to structure, develop and grow their businesses. He provides advice throughout the corporate life cycle, including on matters related to organization, structure, acquisitions and dispositions. His tax education and experience allow him to provide clients with thoughtful, business-oriented advice in federal, state and local tax matters.

Prior to joining Baker Donelson, Ryan worked as in-house counsel at a Fortune 500 integrated energy company. He previously served as a law clerk at the United States Senate Committee on Finance and as a senior tax associate in the New York office of Ernst & Young.

Ryan is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Louisiana.*
