Robert Gardner, a policy strategist with more than seven years of experience, has joined the Government Relations and Public Policy practice at Baker Donelson.
Joining as public policy advisor in the Firm's Washington, D.C. office, Mr. Gardner provides legislative and government relations guidance to clients on a variety of subjects, including tax, trade, appropriations, budget, infrastructure, and sanctions issues. With an extensive background working with Congressional policymakers and their staffs, he helps clients navigate the intricate budget reconciliation and appropriations processes, infrastructure, tax, trade, and sanctions legislation along with tariff list and trade investigations.
Prior to joining Baker Donelson, Mr. Gardner served on the legislative staff for Senator Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, where he covered tax, trade, and sanctions issues.
