Join Baker Donelson and the North Alabama International Trade Association (NAITA) for an expert panel discussion on the future of NAFTA, including updates on current negotiations and the potential impact on businesses.

The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) entered into force more than 23 years ago, and since that time, the U.S. economy and global trading relationships have undergone substantial changes. Last summer, the Trump Administration issued a broad plan, including goals for renegotiating NAFTA.

John Scannapieco, chair of Baker Donelson's Global Business Team, will lead a conversation on trade with Consuls from Mexico and Canada providing an update on the status of NAFTA and their perspectives on proposed changes to the agreement.

Panelists include:
Nadia Theodore – Consul General of Canada in Atlanta
Javier Díaz de León – Consul General of Mexico in Atlanta

John Scannapieco – chair of Baker Donelson's Global Business Team and Honorary Consul from Great Britain and Northern Ireland in Tennessee
