N. DeWayne Pope Joins Baker Donelson's Business Litigation Group


Baker Donelson has added N. DeWayne Pope to the Firm's Birmingham office as a member of the Business Litigation Group.

Mr. Pope, who joins Baker Donelson as of counsel, has more than 25 years of experience counseling clients on a variety of litigation matters including contract, employment, tort and intellectual property. He represents businesses, entrepreneurs, non-profits and governmental agencies in both state and federal courts.

Mr. Pope represents clients before federal agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Department of Labor, provides outside general counsel services to businesses, and advises on employment law, contract, trademark and copyright issues. Along with his substantive experience in all phases of litigation, Mr. Pope also advises in mediations and settlement negotiations.

A graduate of Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, Mr. Pope has been recognized by Mid-South Super Lawyers in Labor & Employment since 2016. He is an adjunct professor of employment law at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Collat School of Business.
