Professional Biography


Lex Diktas Mayo focuses her practice on representing both corporations and individuals in government investigations and enforcement actions, internal investigations, and class action lawsuits. Her experience includes handling issues related to the False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, and Sherman Act, in addition to various other criminal and civil matters, such as human trafficking allegations and opioid litigation.

Lex defends and advises clients as they navigate through complex litigation, internal investigations, government inquiries, and negotiations with the government. Her experience encompasses all aspects of litigation in federal and state courts, including evaluating cases, drafting pleadings and motions, managing written and expert discovery, taking and defending depositions, and negotiating and finalizing settlements.

  • Prepared chief financial officer accused of participating in scheme to defraud Medicare to testify before board of directors' independent counsel during internal investigation.

  • First-chaired bench trial and obtained judgment in favor of defendant in false advertising case.

  • Assisted in multi-jurisdictional litigation regarding client's alleged breach of $30 million contract, which included drafting of successful motion for summary judgment on issue of whether client had the right to terminate contract at will; preparing for depositions; and analyzing documents provided by plaintiffs and third-party witnesses.

  • Negotiated settlement of civil case related to company-wide employee theft conspiracy.
