Forms and Precedents. Baker Donelson has tagged more than 600,000 precedents, forms, document assembly packages, and practice-specific materials by type of matter and legal area. All of these resources are shared through the Firm's industry-leading intranet system and used to educate our lawyers. In addition, all forms, document assembly, and practice materials can be shared with our clients, local counsel, or others as they have been stripped of all client-specific information. We can provide this information through a secure portal with a search feature to help users take advantage of the information to increase productivity and reduce time spent on any task.
Online Collaboration Sites. We offer clients a variety of advanced extranet sites for collaboration. Clients can choose from more than ten different types of secure extranets, including litigation case extranets, legal project management matter sites, eDiscovery data-mapping and legal hold tracking, expert reporter, vendor tracking, corporate deal rooms, due diligence rooms, and immigration extranets. These sites allow users to securely share documents online and can be customized to include task management, calendaring, document review, databases, expert systems, DocBuilder, reporting, and more. With more than 15,500 sites created to date, we tailor and build each site specifically for a client's individual needs and budget concerns. These extranets also serve as a portal for direct communication with our team. Clients can post requests, provide comments on activities, and review matter and/or portfolio status.
Training Modules. Baker Donelson offers off-the-shelf and customized training modules to facilitate and track training initiatives and help ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Our modules, along with outlines, guides, and other materials, can be easily and widely distributed to the intended participants.
Research Resources. With the help of our dedicated research team, we maintain a fully automated online library that cross-references thousands of legal research sites. Our enterprise search system, BakerResearch, efficiently locates legal information from both internal resources and external research providers using one single interface. This allows our lawyers to better serve clients by instantly accessing the latest court rulings, practice specific data, news articles, and legislative information.
