Kennard Davis assists clients in a broad range of litigation matters.

Professional Biography


Kennard Davis is an associate in Baker Donelson's New Orleans office and assists clients in a wide variety of litigation matters, including commercial litigation, environmental and energy law, and arbitration.

Prior to joining Baker Donelson, Kennard served as a law clerk for Judge Kern Reese in Division L of the Orleans Parish Civil District Court and as an extern for Senior Judge Ivan L. R. Lemelle of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. He also served as a legal intern for Judge Regina Bartholomew-Woods in Division B of the Orleans Parish Civil District Court and Judge Edward A. Lombard of the Louisiana Fourth Circuit Court of Appeal.

  • Represented an insurance company in an international dispute arising out of damages sustained to a major submarine power cable during underwater work related to the construction of offshore pipelines. Successfully obtained dismissal of multi-million-dollar case on pre-discovery threshold motions, subsequently affirmed by the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
