Professional Biography

Jonathan Stuart is an associate in Baker Donelson's Atlanta office where he focuses his practice on complex civil litigation and labor and employment matters. He works with clients in the food services, health care, entertainment, manufacturing, and retail industries.

As a former Deloitte consultant, Jonathan takes an analytical, solution-driven approach to resolving legal disputes. His practice includes crafting and enforcing confidentiality agreements, non-compete clauses, and other forms of restrictive covenants related to protecting trade secrets. He also conducts workplace investigations, assists in pre-suit settlement negotiations, and manages the discovery process.

In addition to law, Jonathan has a strong business background and holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Georgia Terry School of Business which adds additional value to the legal advice he provides to his clients.

As a law student, he served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Steve C. Jones and the Honorable Richard W. Story in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Through the University of Georgia School of Law’s Appellate Litigation Clinic, he successfully represented a client before the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
