Elizabeth has a strong personal commitment to the clients with whom she works. She listens to their concerns, understands their business and strives to overcome obstacles and close deals.

Elizabeth serves as transactions counsel for investors, developers, managers, and owner-operators in large scale, multi-state portfolio transactions as well as single-asset deals. REITs and other public and private companies benefit from her client-first approach in the purchase, sale, leaseback, development, management, leasing and financing of raw land and improved assets, including:

  • Medical Office Buildings and Condominiums
  • Hospitals, Outpatient Clinics and Surgery Centers
  • Skilled Nursing Facilities
  • Assisted Living Facilities, Memory Care Centers and Independent Living Facilities
  • Warehouse Distribution Centers and Manufactured Homes
  • Multifamily Housing and Hotels 

Elizabeth routinely drafts and negotiates purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, ground leases, master leases and space leases, and oversees due diligence. Her practice also includes negotiating financing arrangements, including senior credit facilities, mortgage term loans, revolvers, construction loans, mezzanine loans, participations, and note sales. Recent deals include serving as lead counsel on the purchase and leaseback of multi-asset portfolios valued at $88 million and $70 million, respectively. Elizabeth has closed over $2 billion in loans over the past 18 months, including many for real estate investment trusts and their subsidiaries.

Elizabeth also has significant corporate experience, including the structuring of RIDEAs and national joint ventures. She has advised clients on various corporate governance and compliance matters.
