She is phenomenal. I know she has a team behind her and she does a great job of working with them through these large voluminous transactions. That is what attracted us to her. She's probably the best of all of our attorneys at this so she's gotten some more of the complex transactions.

Director of Due Diligence at one of the world's largest investment management firms of healthcare real estate

I could talk all day about how Baker Donelson exceeded my expectations. They were ultra-communicative, especially Elizabeth. She definitely called me more than is typical on a transaction because it was so complex and complicated.

Vice President at one of the world's largest investment management firms of healthcare real estate

One of the best things for me in particular with Elizabeth has been her ability to manage the process not just from a legal perspective but in thinking about the business issues we may have... She knows how to get everything accomplished and completed. The legal issues, business issues and regulatory items all are identified quickly so we understand what is going on earlier in the process.

Elizabeth is very personable and makes you feel comfortable and confident.

The number-one criteria is trust and someone I can rely on. Sometimes there is tension between the legal and business folks internally on deals, so it’s important for outside counsel to keep in communication with me. You can add that to the list of things Elizabeth does really well. She reaches out to me to discuss things directly, and I appreciate that.

Assistant General Counsel – Transactions, a large publicly registered, non-traded real estate investment trust

Elizabeth is very receptive to feedback. She can smile on the surface even though she may be furious underneath. They are in the South with us, so that demeanor is similar to ours. We were working with New York firms on a transaction. They were fine folks and abrupt. Baker Donelson is a very good culture fit for us.

Senior Vice President and Treasurer, a large publicly registered, non-traded real estate investment trust

One of the best things for me in particular with Elizabeth has been her ability to manage the process not just from a legal perspective but in thinking about the business issues we may have and being rational about it. I just remember working on a few deals with Elizabeth and her ability to organize the deal itself. She knows how to get everything accomplished and completed. The legal issues, business issues and regulatory items all are identified quickly so we understand what is going on earlier in the process.
