April 4, 2018
7:30 AM - 9:30 AM Central

Join us for a roundtable that will address the potential impact to your business resulting from the U.S. imposition of tariffs on solar panels, steel and aluminum, and new tariffs on $60 billion of Chinese imports and new restrictions on Chinese investment in the U.S. over "theft" of U.S. intellectual property.

Does your company do business with China? Would you like to hear from a key Hong Kong government representative on doing business with Hong Kong? Would you like to ask questions of another Nashville-area company that has entered the China market?

The Tennessee-China Network, Lipscomb University, and Baker Donelson's Global Business Team Leader, John Scannapieco, will present an interactive roundtable where China business experts from Tennessee, Chicago, Charlotte, and California will be on hand to answer your questions and share their experiences in a casual environment.

Presenters Include:

  • Andy Borchers, Professor of Management and Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs in the Lipscomb University College of Business (Moderator)
  • Winchell Cheung, Director – MidWest for Hong Kong Trade Development Council
  • Brian Swanner, Vice President of Customer Service for Damco, a freight forwarding company
  • Tom Forsythe, Executive Vice President for Kyzen, an environmentally friendly cleaning technology company
  • Andrew Wilson, Director of U.S. for Intrepid Sourcing
  • John Scannapieco, Shareholder and Leader of Baker Donelson's Global Business Team
