Baker Donelson's Sharonda Fancher Selected for Birmingham Bar Association's Future Leaders Forum

Baker Donelson is pleased to announce that Sharonda Fancher has been selected to the 2018 class of the Birmingham Bar Association's Future Leaders Forum.

The Forum is designed to cultivate leaders from among a group of motivated attorneys who have been in practice for three to eight years. The annual program is comprised of six monthly sessions that are focused on leadership and professional development.

Ms. Fancher is an associate in Baker Donelson's Labor & Employment Group where she advises clients on a variety of employment matters, including leave issues, employee counseling, hiring and discipline, disability management, and policies and procedures. She also defends clients in matters relating to charges of discrimination, and investigations and litigation arising under all state and federal labor and employment laws and statutes. Prior to attending the University of Alabama School of Law, Ms. Fancher served as a United States Peace Corps Volunteer in Mozambique for two years, partnering with a small community-based organization to establish a youth-oriented health education program. After law school, Ms. Fancher worked as a law clerk to the Honorable Inge P. Johnson, Senior United States District Judge for the Northern District of Alabama.
