Baker Donelson's Raymond D. Burke Earns Mediator Certification

Raymond D. Burke of Baker Donelson has earned certification as a mediator under Title 17 of the Maryland Rules, which allows him to serve as a court-designated mediator in all Maryland courts.

As a certified mediator and experienced arbitrator, Mr. Burke works with clients to handle disputes through alternative dispute resolution (ADR) procedure.

A shareholder in Baker Donelson's Baltimore office, Mr. Burke concentrates his practice in construction and real estate development and is noted for numerous cases relating to condominium and other multi-use developments. He frequently represents condominium and homeowner associations and property managers in connection with building-related issues, particularly involving code compliance, deviations from industry standards, structural integrity and water intrusion.

Mr. Burke has been recognized by Maryland Super Lawyers in the areas of Construction and Real Estate as well as Construction Litigation and by The Best Lawyers in America© in Construction Law. He also holds an AV® Preeminent™ Rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Chesapeake Chapter of the Community Associations Institute, and is an alumni member of Leadership Baltimore County.
