Baker Donelson announces the formation of a strategic alliance with Leggitt Strategies. Led by Lance B. Leggitt, a former Senior White House Advisor for two Presidents and a seasoned strategic policy advisor with more than 25 years of public and private sector experience, Leggitt Strategies will work with Baker Donelson's Government Relations and Public Policy Group to provide strategic advisory services.
Mr. Leggitt served as a Senior White House Advisor for George W. Bush and Donald J. Trump. He also served as the Chief of Staff for Secretary Tom Price of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, counselor to a Virginia Governor, and an Assistant Attorney General in the Virginia Attorney General's Office.
Mr. Leggitt recently departed the Trump Administration, where he served as Deputy Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy. In this role, Mr. Leggitt advised President Trump on development and implementation of regulatory and legislative strategies covering more than ten cabinet secretaries and agencies including the Departments of Health and Human Services, Transportation, Labor, Education, Veterans Affairs, Agriculture, and the Small Business Administration. Mr. Leggitt regularly engaged these and other federal agencies as a part of his policy development and implementation responsibilities. He also worked closely with White House Legislative Affairs staff to develop strategies for advancing the Administration's policies in Congress.
