Mr. West joins as an associate on Baker Donelson's Gaming Team and Business Litigation Group. As part of his gaming practice, he will focus in the areas of casino gaming, representing casino owners, operators and financiers in all aspects of gaming law, including regulatory, transactional and litigation. Mr. West will also be active in the business litigation group and has extensive experience dealing with general commercial litigation, municipalities and political subdivisions, as well as intellectual property and construction matters.
A graduate of the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University, Mr. West is admitted to practice in Louisiana and Texas and served as a law clerk to the Honorable S. Maurice Hicks, Jr. in the United States District Court, Western Division of Louisiana. He also recently served as a faculty member for the Paul M. Hebert School of Law Trial Advocacy course for third-year law students.
