Baker Donelson Adds Jean Dober to Financial Services Team


Baker Donelson has added Jean Dober to the Firm's Washington, D.C. office as a member of the Financial Services Department.

Ms. Dober joins the Firm as of counsel, bringing more than 15 years of litigation, bankruptcy, and transaction experience in corporate and commercial cases, with substantial experience in railroad operations, industrial construction and government contracts. She previously served as Senior Associate General Counsel in the commercial litigation group for National Railroad Passenger Corporation, better known as Amtrak, where she was a leading corporation counsel in implementing large scale litigation and bankruptcy action plans on behalf of her client against public/governmental agencies as well as private business and other Class I Railroad entities, for issues, disputes and claims arising out of commercial transactions. Additionally, Ms. Dober has managed claims and actions based in complex commercial agreements, government contracts, federal law, U.S. constitution, U.S. Bankruptcy Code, Railroad Passenger Service Act, condemnation and federal preemption.
