Professional Biography


As a member of the Advocacy Department, Ms. Addison assists clients in general business-related litigation matters and labor and employment matters.

In the area of commercial litigation, Ms. Addison represents financial institutions in a wide variety of matters, including mortgage servicing litigation and other mortgage-related matters, lender liability claims, wrongful foreclosures, and claims of unfair and deceptive trade practices. Ms. Addison also assists clients in a variety of business transactions, including corporate acquisitions and obtaining tax and economic incentives.

In the area of employment law, Ms. Addison has experience assisting with numerous multi-state and mass actions, including FLSA mass actions involving misclassification claims. Ms. Addison has assisted with all phases of litigation. She also has authored and presented numerous pieces on developing FLSA issues and other employment matters.

While attending law school, Ms. Addison served as an intern for Louisiana Appleseed, completing pro bono work for the organization focusing on policy based initiatives to solve legal issues in Louisiana.
