Professional Biography

Allison Cooley is an attorney in Baker Donelson's Nashville office where she focuses her practice on health care litigation matters. She assists clients in managing litigation in a wide range of health care facilities, specializing in long-term health providers.

Prior to joining Baker Donelson, Allison served as an attorney and an administrative judge at the Division of TennCare for the state of Tennessee. She also served as the managing attorney for the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands - Gallatin Office.

  • Successfully defended in front of the Tennessee Court of Appeals a lower court's finding of criminal contempt.

  • Issued hundreds of Initial Orders as an administrative judge on determinations of Medicaid eligibility without ever being overturned on appeal.
