Overview

Mr. Helton is certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education, as a Civil Pretrial Practice Advocate by the National Board of Civil Trial Practice Advocacy and as a Rule 31 Listed General Civil Mediator. He was a law clerk to Frank Gray, Jr., U.S. District Judge, Middle District of Tennessee from 1966 – 1967. From 1967 – 1968, he was a law clerk for Paul C. Weick, Chief Judge, U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit.
