(New Orleans, LA / July 17, 2014) Monica A. Frois has been reappointed Co-Vice Chair of Diverse Member Development for the Diversity Committee of the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC).
The IADC's Diversity Committee is dedicated to increasing the involvement and participation of diverse attorneys in the organization through professional programming and membership strategies.
Ms. Frois, a shareholder in Baker Donelson's New Orleans office, has more than 20 years of experience in health care matters as well as complex litigation, insurance issues, legal ethics and professional responsibility litigation. She has served on the Medical/Legal Interprofessional Committee of the Louisiana State Medical Society and the Louisiana State Bar Association, and also serves as vice chair of membership for the Medical Defense & Health Law Committee of the IADC. Ms. Frois is also a member of Baker Donelson's Diversity Committee and serves as vice chair of the Firm's Women's Initiative Committee in the New Orleans office.
Since 2006, Ms. Frois has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America® and was named the Best Lawyers' 2012 New Orleans Medical Malpractice Law – Defendants "Lawyer of the Year." She has also been recognized by Louisiana Super Lawyers since 2010 and has been named to the publication's list of "Top 25 Female Attorneys" in the state of Louisiana since 2011. Ms. Frois currently serves on the boards of Save Our Cemeteries, the NOLA City Dog Park, and the Hermann-Grima and Gallier Historic Houses.
