(New Orleans, LA/May 25, 2011) Monica A. Frois, of the law firm Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC, has been invited to join the prestigious Council on Litigation Management (CLM), a nonpartisan alliance comprised of thousands of insurance companies, corporations, corporate counsel, litigation and risk managers, claims professionals and attorneys. Through education and collaboration, the organization's goals are to create a common interest in the representation by firms of companies, and to promote and further the highest standards of litigation management in pursuit of client defense. Selected attorneys and law firms are extended membership by invitation only based on nominations from CLM Fellows.
A shareholder in the Firm's New Orleans office, Ms. Frois has 20 years of experience in health care matters as well as complex litigation, insurance issues, legal ethics and professional responsibility litigation. She represents hospitals, physicians, nursing homes and other health care providers in operational, compliance, regulatory and transactional issues as well as a wide variety of litigation. She has served on the Medical/Legal Interprofessional Committee of the Louisiana State Medical Society and the Louisiana State Bar Association and was appointed vice chair of membership for the Medical Defense & Health Law Committee of the International Association of Defense Counsel.
