Professional Biography

Overview

Ms. Carter advocates for her clients in a broad range of complex litigation issues in state and federal courts, at both the trial and appellate levels. In many instances, the disputes in which she advises clients are critical to routine business operations, including litigation related to intellectual property, contractual disputes, property and environmental issues, and employment.

Additionally, Ms. Carter has experience representing clients in fraud and breach of fiduciary claims as well as RICO claims.

Prior to joining Baker Donelson, Ms. Carter served as a law clerk for two years (2013 – 2015) for the Honorable Stanwood R. Duval Jr., former United States District Court Judge for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
