(Atlanta, GA / July 30, 2014) The American Legal and Financial Network (ALFN) recently named Jonathan E. Green, a shareholder in Baker Donelson's Atlanta office, to its inaugural "Picture the Future" list, identifying up-and-coming leaders in the mortgage banking industry. The list is a publication of ALFN's Junior Professionals and Executives Group (JPEG) network and represents "the best and the brightest of the mortgage banking trade association's attorney/trustee, associate and servicer members."
ALFN is a national network of legal and residential mortgage banking professionals that provides strategic, high-quality educational and training resources. JPEG is designed to connect, mentor and retain young industry talent through education, networking, career development and profile-building opportunities.
Jon Green concentrates his practice in the areas of business litigation and real estate law, with particular emphasis on mortgage lending and servicing issues, real estate title clearance and litigation, and lender liability and mortgage fraud defense. He is the author of numerous articles on mortgage law issues, including "Preparing for Litigation Under the Ability to Repay Rule" in the February 2014 issue of National Mortgage News. He is the co-chair of Baker Donelson's Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Committee in which he assists the Firm's clients in interpreting and understanding the regulations promulgated by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. He is a also member of the ALFN's Legislative & Regulatory Policy Committee.
Mr. Green is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and received his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law.
