The ABA's 25th Annual National Institute on Health Care Fraud will be held Wednesday, May 13, through Friday, May 15, at the Eden Roc Resort & Spa in Miami Beach, Florida.
The institute has developed a rewarding educational experience for health care attorneys, regulators, compliance professionals, state and federal prosecutors, criminal defense attorneys and qui tam relators’ counsel. This event draws panelists, facilitators and participants from each of these significant groups and offers unique opportunities to meet and share experiences and concerns in a non-adversarial setting.
Baker Donelson's Joe Whitley, head of the Firm's Government Enforcement and Investigations team, and Ted Lotchin both serve as faculty members of the Institute:
- Ted Lotchin will be a leader at the "Public Disclosure, Original Source and First to File" workshop on Thursday, May 14, at 4:30 p.m.
- Joe Whitley will moderate a trial practice demonstration on U.S. v. Halifax, on Friday, May 15, at 8:30 a.m.
Attendees of this program are eligible for 16.83 general CLE credit hours.
