Grady Garrison Appointed Vice Chair of ABA IP Litigation Subcommittee

(Memphis, TN/November 5, 2009) Grady M. Garrison of the law firm Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC, has been appointed to serve as Vice Chair of the Intellectual Property Litigation Subcommittee for the American Bar Association (ABA) Litigation Section.

The Intellectual Property Litigation Subcommittee focuses on litigation relating to patent, trademark, copyright, trade secrets, the Internet and related unfair competition cases. The wide scope of this committee runs from technical products to artistic works. Though focusing on federal law, it also touches upon state law and international concerns. With approximately 2,300 members, it is one of the largest and most active substantive law committees in the Section of Litigation.

Mr. Garrison, of counsel in Baker Donelson's Memphis office, concentrates his practice in the areas of intellectual property law and franchise law. He has experience in trademark, copyright, franchising, antitrust and trade regulation matters and related licensing, litigation and transactional issues. Mr. Garrison has been recognized in the area of intellectual property law by The Best Lawyers in America® (Copyright 2009 by Woodward/White, Inc., of Aiken S.C.) and Mid-South Super Lawyers.
