Long gone are the days of storing your most important documents in a file drawer under lock and key. Storing even highly sensitive information electronically is now commonplace. Unfortunately, in our search for convenience and accessibility, we’ve traded our bricks-and-mortar paper files for digital vulnerabilities with our widespread use of and dependence on electronic records. Internet villains are discovering new virtual avenues for data theft every day. Moreover, in response to high-profile, obscenely expensive data breaches at companies like Target, Home Depot and eBay, federal and state governments are imposing tougher standards on businesses to protect the personal information of their customers.

Join us to learn how hackers are gaining access to your data systems and what you can do to protect yourself and your business. Also, learn about the legal environment surrounding data storage and how you can minimize your company's legal risks.
