(New Orleans, LA/July 26, 2012) Craig L. Caesar of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC has been appointed to a two-year term as Chair of the Louisiana State Bar Association Committee on Alcohol and Drug Abuse (CADA).
As CADA Chair, Mr. Caesar will also serve as Chair of the Executive Committee of the Lawyers Assistance Program (LAP). CADA and LAP provide assistance on a confidential basis to lawyers and judges and their families in Louisiana who seek or are referred for help to recover from the effects of alcoholism, drug abuse, depression, and other mental and emotional conditions that affect their practices and their personal lives.
Mr. Caesar, who is of counsel in Baker Donelson's New Orleans office, represents regional and national clients in the health care, marine product manufacturing, telecommunications and financial services industries, advising them on antitrust, corporate governance and trade regulation matters, advocating for them in state and federal litigation, and defending them against investigations by the Federal Trade Commission and Department of Justice when necessary.
