(Birmingham, AL / May 10, 2016) Baker Donelson announces the arrival of Brodie T. James to the Firm's Birmingham office.
Mr. James joins as an associate in Baker Donelson's Construction Group where he represents owners, general contractors, subcontractors, developers and suppliers in all aspects of construction disputes. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. James focused his practice in the areas of real estate litigation and mortgage banking litigation. He has represented corporate and individual property owners, financial institutions and loan servicers in litigated matters, mediations and appellate matters throughout Alabama. Mr. James also has experience advising clients on foreclosure and REO litigation issues, regulatory compliance, real estate sales and redemptions, and title curative issues.
A 2011 graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law, Mr. James is a member of the Birmingham and Alabama Bar Associations and currently serves as a junior board member for the Arthritis Foundation and for United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Birmingham. He previously served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Nicole Gordon Still of the Tenth Judicial Circuit in Jefferson County, Alabama.
