(Birmingham, AL/December 18, 2012) Jenna M. Bedsole of the law firm Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC, has been named chairwoman of the Women's Business Council, a group affiliated with the Birmingham Business Alliance (BBA).
The Women's Business Council works to aid women in the achievement of their professional goals while encouraging a prosperous business community.
Ms. Bedsole, a shareholder in Baker Donelson's Birmingham office, is a member of the Firm's Labor and Employment Group where she has represented employers in a broad range of employment matters, including the defense of cases under federal and state discrimination laws and the enforcement of non-compete agreements. She is a member of the Birmingham Bar Association where she is involved with the Long Range Planning Committee and the Future Leaders Forum.
