Baker Donelson's Jenna M. Bedsole Named Chairwoman of Women's Business Council

(Birmingham, AL/December 18, 2012) Jenna M. Bedsole of the law firm Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC, has been named chairwoman of the Women's Business Council, a group affiliated with the Birmingham Business Alliance (BBA).

The Women's Business Council works to aid women in the achievement of their professional goals while encouraging a prosperous business community.

Ms. Bedsole, a shareholder in Baker Donelson's Birmingham office, is a member of the Firm's Labor and Employment Group where she has represented employers in a broad range of employment matters, including the defense of cases under federal and state discrimination laws and the enforcement of non-compete agreements. She is a member of the Birmingham Bar Association where she is involved with the Long Range Planning Committee and the Future Leaders Forum.

"Jenna Bedsole is an ideal choice to chair the brand-new Women’s Business Council," said Victor Brown, vice president of small business and minority business development for the BBA.
