Baker Donelson's Jed Beardsley and Kevin Stine to Present at Major Real Estate Law Seminar

(Atlanta, GA/October 28, 2010) Jed S. Beardsley and Kevin A. Stine, shareholders in the Atlanta office of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC, will be featured speakers at the National Business Institute's (NBI) Real Estate seminar taking place November 3, 2010 at the Westin Atlanta Buckhead.

The seminar, entitled "Advanced Issues in Real Estate Law," will address timely topics in the real estate industry, such as how to handle title defects, contaminated property transactions, foreclosure problems and the tax aspects of real estate transactions.

Mr. Beardsley will speak on the topic "Tax Aspects of Real Estate Transactions." A Georgia Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Beardsley concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate, business and tax law with extensive experience in the national and local acquisition, sale, 1031 exchange, development, construction, and leasing of commercial real estate.

Mr. Stine will be presenting on the topic "Advanced Foreclosure Issues." Mr. Stine focuses his commercial and business litigation practice on bankruptcy, insolvency, creditor's rights, secured transactions and intellectual property issues.
