Share

(Birmingham, AL/May 7, 2008) Twelve attorneys from the Birmingham office of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC have been named to Alabama Super Lawyers.

The following attorneys, along with the practice areas in which they are noted, were named to the list: H. Chervis Isom, real estate; Frank S. James, employment and labor; Denise W. Killebrew, real estate; Timothy M. Lupinacci, bankruptcy and creditor/debtor rights; Edward P. Meyerson, construction litigation; Anne W. Mitchell, estate planning and probate; and Susan S. Wagner, appellate law.

The selections for Super Lawyers are made by Law & Politics, a division of Key Professional Media, Inc. Each year, Law & Politics undertakes a multi-phase selection process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, independent evaluation of candidates by the Law & Politics' attorney-led research staff, a peer review of candidates by practice area and a good-standing and disciplinary check. The 2008 Alabama Super Lawyers is based on the survey of more than 12,000 attorneys who have been in practice for five years or more. The goal of Alabama Super Lawyers magazine is to select the top 5 percent of Alabama attorneys in more than 60 practice areas.

"I am gratified by the recognition of my colleagues in the Birmingham office of Baker Donelson," said Tim Lupinacci, office managing shareholder. "More than one-third of the shareholders in our office have been singled out by Alabama Super Lawyers. This acknowledgement by our peers displays the depth and breadth of Baker Donelson's excellence in providing service to our clients."
