Three Attorneys Join Baker Donelson's Memphis Office

(Memphis, TN/July 11, 2011) Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC, announces the addition of three new attorneys to its Memphis office: Emily T. Brackstone, Nolan M. Johnson and Chad M. Wilgenbusch.
Ms. Brackstone joins the Firm as an associate in the Corporate/Mergers & Acquisitions and Health Law practice groups. She represents buyers and sellers in the acquisition and sale of businesses, drafts and negotiates general business contracts, helps to structure and form business organizations, advises clients regarding corporate governance issues, and counsels health care clients on a wide range of topics. Ms. Brackstone graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame and summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee College of Law, where she was a Student Materials Editor for the Tennessee Law Review.
Mr. Johnson joins the Firm as an associate in the Product Liability and Mass Tort group. He has experience representing pharmaceutical companies and financial institutions in all aspects of litigation. Prior to joining Baker Donelson, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Holly M. Kirby of the Tennessee Court of Appeals. Mr. Johnson is a 2007 cum laude graduate of the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphrey's School of Law, where he was the Articles Editor for the University of Memphis Law Review.
Mr. Wilgenbusch joins the Firm as an associate in the Securities/Corporate Governance group, where he focuses his practice on securities transactions. Prior to joining Baker Donelson, he worked with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation where he handled various banking related matters. Mr. Wilgenbusch is a 2010 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphrey's School of Law. He also earned his M.B.A. in 2010 from the University of Memphis Fogelman College of Business and Economics.
